  • Alpha

    Alpha is a multi-week course that allows people to discuss life’s big questions. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally, they have three key things in common: hospitality, a talk, and good conversation.

  • Portland Evangelism Report

    How are churches in the Portland area approaching evangelism? The SharePDX Team set out to answer this question in the summer of 2019. The team believed the first place to start was to listen to the voices of lead pastors in our community. Much of our world and city have changed since the beginning of this study. While the need to evangelize remains the same, pastors are now wondering how to share the Gospel in a time marked by a global pandemic, divisive politics, racial injustice, government restrictions, and social isolation.

  • Evangelism Masterclass

    Gloo, Luis Palau Association, and the He Gets Us movement have created a free Evangelism Masterclass. The eight-part video series instructs people step by step on how they can most effectively share the good news of Jesus Christ by relating to what is currently happening in the culture. President of the Luis Palau Association Kevin Palau and missiologist Ed Stetzer host the series, and additional contributors include speakers and authors such as Christine Caine, Mark Mittelberg, Nona Jones, Greg Stier, Rebecca McLaughlin, and Andrew and Wendy Palau.
